Coventry City have completed their eight signing of the summer transfer window as Englishman Luis Binks joins the club on a season-long loan deal from Italian top-flight side Bologna.
The 21-year-old has became the clubs latest signing, following the arrival of Bristol City defender Jay Dasilva, Everton's Ellis Simms, KV Oostende's Tatsuhiro Sakamoto, Barnsley's Brad Collins, Swansea's Joel Latibeaudiere, Burnley's Bobby Thomas and Dutch U21s defender Milan Van Ewijk as the club's recruitment continues to strengthen ahead of the 2023/24 EFL Championship season.
Binks began his youth career with Tottenham Hotspur, before making the switch to the MLS with Montreal. This allowed him to experience mens first-team football and earned him a switch to Bologna in Italy. He has made appearances in both the Serie A and B in his career and impressed with Como in the second tier last season.
The English defender has signed on a season-long loan with the Championship side after the two sides agreed a deal for his services.
Welcome aboard Luis!
