Coventry City suffered back to back defeats in pre-season, as they were defeated 1-0 against Non-League side Evesham United in the clubs third pre-season match so far.

Coventry City continued to use trialist's for the match, but did field a stronger squad compared to the two previous friendlies against both Stratford Town and Leamington. Tom Costello captained the side, whilst Danny Cashman made his first appearance and midfielder Elliot Bentjemann featured for the first time, after featuring for the first-team against Forest Green last weekend.

Due to Coventry City's media team being at the Shrewsbury Town match and Evesham United's representative being away, there was no live coverage or tweet update from the match.

However, spectators have said that the first-half was entertaining but ended goalless.

The second-half was also reportedly entertaining, with the only goal of the match arriving on the hour mark. A corner from the right-hand side found the head of Michael O'Regan who rose highest to head past Luke Bell to ensure the victory for the home side.
