Coventry City U21’s defender Abel Alabi has been released by the Skyblues via mutual consent, following a disappointing spell with the Championship club.
The defender has experienced two loan spells last season, but failed to make a lasting impression, even despite scoring for the clubs U21s last season.
His Career So Far
Abel Alabi joined the Skyblues on a free transfer from Irish side Waterford FC, joining with high expectations. However, he struggled initially, although he did grab a goal for the clubs U21s last season.
Alabi went on to have a loan spell with Tamworth, where he failed to make a senior appearance and also had a spell with Alvechurch where he appeared to have found his level.
