Coventry City have secured their fourth signing of the Summer transfer window as Barnsley goalkeeper Brad Collins joins the Skyblues for an undisclosed fee to provide competition between the sticks.
The 26-year-old has became the clubs latest signing, following the arrival of Bristol City defender Jay Dasilva, Everton's Ellis Simms and Japanese international Tatsuhiro Sakamoto in recent weeks. Collins played a starring role for League One side Barnsley last season, before suffering an injury which saw him miss the remainder of the season.
Sakamoto began his professional career with Premier League giants Chelsea, where he worked alongside Jay Dasilva, Kasey Palmer and assistant manager Adi Viveash. He enjoyed a successful loan stint with League One side Burton Albion before joining Barnsley on a free transfer, where he played a key role in the club's EFL Championship and League One seasons.
The goalkeeper has signed a three-year contract with the Skyblues, joining for an undisclosed fee.
Welcome aboard Brad!
